David Bassani is Founding Partner of Maia Ventures, a Milan-based early-stage VC fund he co-founded in 2024. Its first fund, of €55 million, invests in startups working on health, efficiency and resilience in food systems. Previously, David was a Partner at ZX Ventures, AB InBev's corporate venture capital arm, where he invested in companies across stages. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
