Gregory earned his PhD in Food Microbiology and Toxicology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His probiotics-centered career began at Abbott Nutrition, followed by 15 years at Danisco–DuPont in research and leadership roles. In 2013, he helped acquire UAS Labs and became Chief Scientific Officer. After its 2020 acquisition by Chr. Hansen, he served as Senior Director of Scientific Affairs before founding his consulting firm. He has published extensively on probiotic clinical benefits, applications, and microbial safety.
